Volunteer

Appreciation Day

April 20th

We would like to thank all of our Summersill Volunteers!

We truly appreciate all that you do. From Summersill Staff and Students.

Nurses Corner

Bug bites… April brings the crawling and flying friends out to play. Children will often get bugs bites near dusk or when it’s damp outside. If your child is allergic to certain bugs speak with your pediatrician about having the proper medication on hand. Otherwise, a cool bath and lotion will often take the itch away. If bites may interfere with the child focusing at school, consider applying cream, such as Benadryl cream, before school – we cannot apply any types of creams at school without a doctor’s order. Open sores/bites must be covered with a Band-Aid to reduce the chance of infection for the child and their peers.
